Dawnbreak AI was born from the lived experience of a medical family that has spent decades inside hospitals.
Founded by Pranav Karthik Nagesh, a former Google and Amazon product leader, and backed by senior clinicians like Dr. Karthik Nagesh (Chairman, NNF) and Dr. Gayathri Karthik (Professor of OBGYN, Manipal), Dawnbreak AI exists to bring thoughtful, deeply integrated technology into everyday medical practice by simplifying the way doctors can interact with it.
Our first product, Clinical Transcription, helps doctors convert spoken notes into structured clinical summaries that flow directly into EMRs. It’s fast, accurate, multilingual, and built for daily use in high-pressure medical environments.

Dr. N Karthik Nagesh

Dr. Karthik is a 3-time founder with 42 years of clinical experience, a seasoned hospital administrator, and a Fellow of the Royal College of London. He currently serves as an advisor to the Government of Karnataka and the World Health Organization, and holds leadership positions as President of the NNF Karnataka and the IAP Bangalore.

Pranav is a first time founder with over 11 years of experience, having held key roles at both Google and Amazon. He led product at Octai, a UK-based data startup, where he helped the company go from zero to first revenue within six months. At Amazon, he was the product lead for vendor data integration in the retail division, and at Google, he worked on identity and security as a product manager.

Dr. Gayathri Karthik
Head of Medical Partnerships
Dr. Gayathri is a 2-time founder with 40 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has served as a Professor of OBGYN for over 30 years. She sits on the Medical Advisory Board at Manipal Hospitals, is a member of the Association of Gynaec Robotic Surgeons, and advises multiple healthtech startups. She is also a Harvard-certified practitioner in AI for Healthcare.
