You’ll be instrumental in building our first product and shaping a tool that can have a profound impact in healthcare.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be taking Dawnbreak from concept to code, working on a cross-functional team to develop our MVP from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building innovative technology in its early stages, especially with AI and NLP integrations. You’ll work on the entire server-side stack, from the backend architecture and API construction to model training and pipeline setup, to build a seamless, impactful app.

This is a senior role, and as such we will only be considering applicants with at least 4-8 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop from the Ground Up: Set up and manage the backend architecture in Python to support real-time data flow, ML model deployment & inference, and EMR integration.

• Implement Voice-to-Text and NLP Capabilities: Integrate cutting-edge speech-to-text technology, optimizing for accuracy and low latency to support healthcare settings.

• Ensure Data Privacy and Security: Implement role-based permissions and secure data handling practices to meet compliance standards.

• Iterate Based on Feedback: Collaborate closely with the design team to refine features and create a product that healthcare professionals love.

Requirements (Note: You don’t need all these requirements to apply)

• Backend Proficiency in Python: Experience building scalable, secure backend services, with the ability to integrate voice-to-text and NLP models.

• Fundamental knowledge of DevOps and MLOps with a clear understanding about how to build infra that scales

• Familiarity with AI technologies: Understanding of LLMs, speech-to-text integrations, and experience with Google Speech-to-Text or Whisper is a plus.

• Problem Solver: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to address early product development challenges.
